This Privacy Policy describes how Deep Sea Developers ("we", "us", "our") handles information in connection with the mobile application Sudoku (the "App"), available on Google Play.

If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the App.

Summary

The App has no backend. It runs entirely on your device. We do not operate servers and do not collect or store personal information about you. We do rely on Google-owned services (Google AdMob and Google Play Billing) that collect limited data on our behalf to serve ads and process purchases. Those services operate under their own privacy policies, linked below.

1. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

The App saves gameplay data in your device's local storage (Android SharedPreferences). This includes:

This data stays on your device and is never transmitted to us. Uninstalling the App or clearing its storage deletes it.

2. Information Collected Automatically by Third Parties

Google AdMob (advertising)

We use Google AdMob to display banner ads, between-game interstitial ads, and opt-in rewarded video ads. When ads are served, Google AdMob may collect:

Google uses this information to serve ads, measure ad performance, and prevent fraud. You can control personalized advertising via your device's Google settings:

Android: Settings → Google → Ads → reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of Ads Personalization.

Google AdMob's data practices are governed by:

Google Play Billing (in-app purchases)

When you make an in-app purchase (currently only "Remove Ads"), the purchase is processed by Google Play. Google collects and stores billing information (payment method, purchase history, tax records). We do not see, store, or have access to your payment details. We receive only a confirmation that the purchase succeeded and the product identifier, which we use to enable the "Ads removed" entitlement on your device.

Google Play Billing is governed by:

3. What We Do Not Collect

We do not collect:

4. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. In the Google Play Store, the App's target audience is set to 13 years of age or older.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently done so, please contact us at the email below and we will promptly take action.

5. California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)

California residents have the right to:

We do not sell or share personal information. For what Google AdMob and Google Play Billing collect on their own, see Section 2 and Google's policies. To exercise rights regarding any information handled by us, email deepseatechnologiespk@gmail.com.

6. European Union / United Kingdom Users (GDPR)

Under the GDPR and UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict processing, object to processing, and request portability of your personal data.

As we do not directly collect personal data, most requests should be directed to Google, which is the controller of data collected by AdMob and Google Play Billing. You can exercise these rights through Google's Privacy and Terms center: https://policies.google.com/privacy.

For any questions about data handled by us (there is none under normal operation), contact deepseatechnologiespk@gmail.com.

The legal basis for any processing we undertake is your consent (which you may withdraw by uninstalling the App) and our legitimate interest in operating the App.

7. Data Retention

We do not retain personal information, as we do not collect any. Locally stored game data remains on your device until you uninstall the App or clear its data in your device settings.

AdMob and Google Play Billing retain data under Google's own retention policies, linked in Section 2.

8. Security

Because we do not collect personal data, there is no server-side data to secure on our side. Your in-app purchase entitlement and game state are stored using Android's standard application-private storage. No system is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security of data on any device.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective date" at the top. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the App after changes indicates your acceptance of the revised Policy.
