This Privacy Policy describes how Deep Sea Developers ("we", "us", "our") handles information in connection with the mobile application Expressions (the "App"), a math expression solver and calculator available on Google Play.

If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the App.

Summary

The App has no backend, no advertising, and no in-app purchases. It runs entirely on your device. We do not operate servers, do not collect or store personal information about you, and do not embed any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.

1. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

The App saves data in your device's local storage (Android SharedPreferences and/or application-private files). This may include:

Your calculation history.
Saved expressions, variables, or formulas.
Your preferences and settings (theme, angle unit, decimal precision, etc.).

This data stays on your device and is never transmitted to us. Uninstalling the App or clearing its storage deletes it.

2. What We Do Not Collect

We do not collect:

Your name, email address, phone number, or any account information.
Your advertising identifier.
Your IP address, location (precise or approximate), or device fingerprint.
Contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or other sensitive device data.
Crash logs, usage analytics, or telemetry of any kind.

3. Device Permissions

The App does not request any runtime permissions. It does not require network access to function — all calculations happen on-device.

4. Children's Privacy

The App is suitable for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children of any age, because we do not collect personal information at all. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us at the email below and we will promptly take action.

5. California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)

California residents have the right to:

Know what personal information is collected, disclosed, or sold.
Request deletion of personal information.
Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
Non-discrimination for exercising these rights.

The legal basis for any processing we undertake is your consent (which you may withdraw by uninstalling the App) and our legitimate interest in operating the App.

7. Data Retention

We do not retain personal information, as we do not collect any. Locally stored data (calculation history, preferences) remains on your device until you clear it from within the App, clear the App's data in your device settings, or uninstall the App.

8. Security

Because we do not collect personal data, there is no server-side data to secure on our side. Your locally stored data is kept using Android's standard application-private storage. No system is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security of data on any device.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective date" at the top. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the App after changes indicates your acceptance of the revised Policy.
